Okay...to veer off topic in an attempt to make this feel like the forums... Last week, my avatar was too big. No biggie, although I did like the statement I was making with that particular gif. (Belushi smashing the guitar). This week, I get notified that my signature line containing a link to MY blog is inappropriate due to language, images and content. Okay, fine. I'll admit to it. I do however take exception to the fact that there are many links posted that take to places where people cuss in their comments.And I'd love to know who finally reported it after all these months... Thanks for the opportunity to vent!
I would question the moderator... because some of the crazy things that are in the coffee shop are psycho and I think you're getting picked on. I'm sure mine will be too big when I get back as well... Or maybe the mods themselves followed the link and have discovered our secret plot to invade the world?
Oh, I'm positive that the mods went to my blog, and here's some stuff that I found out. First of all, Crono is now the big dawg on campus. Strangely enough, I believe he's based in Ontario. Patriot is now officially a "retired administrator". Seems that the changing of the guard has meant a more stringent set of rules...
Rocx, It really pissed me off when Crono told me to take down my avatar. He also reprimanded me for something I said 2 days prior without noting what it was I said. He accused me of trolling. Jodie is a monstrous troll, and I get called out for addressing her BS? Stopillegals went on a racist rant, yet is still posting. It does seem to me that the changing of the guard is focusing on just a few. Makes me think Chelsea's days may be numbered. Or maybe I'm just being sensitive.
Ping, Pinky and the Brain are my favorite (next to Foamy). Pinky's answers to Brain's "are you pondering what I'm pondering" are priceless.
I'm really getting tired of Steelgirl. She makes Sarah Palin look like a shrinking violet. I just reported her again, but it doesn't seem to do any good. Jodie gets on my nerves, but usually her posts are so long I just sort of skim over them and ignore them.
Fair Chelsea better make it a few more days... I think I get out next week, Thursday or Friday...
I do remember when I had the Family Guy Dancing Peter Avata shunguwhatever made me change it... I think the animated gifs are the issue. But there are tons of them... Bruiser in the CS has the push-up kitten and there are more but he's the only one I can remember off the top of my head.
Well, the McCain campaign has turned completely nasty so I'm sure the uber-troll supporters have gone apeshit balistic as instructed.
You know, they get bonus points and can win stuff for their posts... psycho...
Now, there's a thread in the CS called Ask the Mods... might want to see if you can glean stuff from there.
Okay...news from the forum... Today...a poster named Overlord posts a thread where he admits to using a different user name, something I believe SOMEONE got in trouble for at one point. So I message Crono about it. No answer. So I call out Overlord on the subject, and he admits to not only having many user names, but also to having been banned several times AND having over 1000 points of access. WTF? So, I looks for WW, she ain't on, so I message Shungowhatthefuck about this. He's been helpful so far...it'll be curious as to how this all plays out... More news...GV passed 5k posts! And the Chelsea thread is about 50 posts from 5k itself...I'll try to keep the folks chill, maybe we can hold off that milestone until you get back... Anywho, that's today's News From The Forum...
